Faith is a belief held in the presence of doubt rather than a belief that removes all doubt!
Disciple Thomas gets a bad break as a doubter! We could call him courageous as he makes clear in John 11 that as Jesus shares his desire to go “up into Jerusalem” Thomas says, “Let us also go, that we may die with him!”
So we in post-Easter must decide: Will we call on the power, presence, and guidance of the Holy Spirit, leading the church and all believers into the future?
Come and hear the words of Jesus. “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life,” and prayerfully be able to say “My Lord, My God” as Thomas did in front of the “Resurrected Jesus.”
