Hope Park

St. George Island UMC has teamed up with other local churches to create Hope Park. Organizers hope the park will lead to a rejuvenation of a hard-hit area of Eastpoint, Florida. An area ravaged a little over a year ago by fire, later hit by Hurricane Michael, and over recent years by a methamphetamine drug epidemic, Hope Park is a place born of faith and offers a safe place for the children and seniors in the community.

With local support and a lot of work, we aim to achieve this faith-inspired vision of building a park for families and children in the heart of Ridge, Wilderness and Bear Creek Road.

Donate today and support the vision of HOPE PARK as a refuge for children to play, a community center for families and a place to house a substation for the Sheriff’s Office to improve community safety. Join the ecumenical coalition of local churches and friends of Eastpoint who share our vision.
