SGIUMC Worship Is Cancelled
for Sunday, October 11

Dear Friends of Jesus Christ,

To keep everyone safe, worship is cancelled this Sunday, October 11. Some of our members and worship leaders travel quite a distance, and there is currently a mandatory evacuation order in effect. Others are working hard to prepare for the storm and the cleanup that will follow.

Please keep those who are homeless and others with inadequate shelter in your prayers. I’m also thinking of and ask that you keep in your prayers those with health issues who might find this storm more than just an inconvenience, as well as those who may find themselves in this storm’s direct path.

Instead of gathering this Sunday for formal worship, the church will be “deployed” in service to its neighbors throughout our extended community. Please take care of those around you, no matter where you are.  Stay safe!

Grace and Peace, Will
