Church Open at 10 a.m.

SGIUMC Worship Is open
for Sunday, October 11

Dear Members of SGIUMC and other friends of Jesus,

Just a heads-up that our regular worship service for tomorrow morning is still cancelled.  However, the mandatory evacuation notice was lifted this morning, so the church will be open at 10 a.m. tomorrow for prayers, scripture reading, singing (a cappella), and fellowship.  There will not be a sermon, but if you wish to come and pray and reconnect with others after the storm, we will be there for you.  We’ll have fellowship time with whatever we can scrounge up in the kitchen.

Some of you might still need to get the storm cleanup done, and we really don’t want anyone to feel pressured to be there. We’ll manage with whomever is able to attend.  Please continue to stay safe and be a witness in our community by helping others.

Grace and Peace,
Will
